Stephy James

Stephy James was born and raised in India. She received her Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) in India. Her research there centered around drug development relating to cancer treatment. With an aim to expand her knowledge and sharpen her skills to develop and explore drug development, Stephy joined the Hadden lab in 2023. Her work now focuses on new molecule synthesis, biochemical assay and in vitro assays for the target of interest. Stephy aspires that her contributions could propel molecules from the lab bench to patients’ tables.
