Ruth Ogboye
Ruth Mosunmola Ogboye is a 2nd year PhD student in the Hadden lab. She is from Ondo State in South-Western Nigeria. She received her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Nigeria in 2018 and has five years of professional experience in pharmacy practice. She further advanced her studies with a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, also at OAU. Ruth is passionate about utilizing chemistry and chemical biology to develop therapeutic molecules aimed at treating cancer. Her current research focuses on the early stages of drug discovery, particularly in target identification and molecule development. Beyond the lab, Ruth is involved in community service, volunteering with STEM for Development, and the International Campus Fellowship. She enjoys channeling her creativity into making videos that combine her interests in faith and science.
